Here are some general guidelines for microneedling aftercare:

1. Avoid Sun Exposure: Direct sun exposure or tanning beds should be avoided for at least 7 days post-treatment. After that, you should apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) before going outside. The newly treated skin will be more sensitive to the sun.

2. Gentle Skin Care: Use a gentle cleanser for a few days and avoid any skincare products that contain retinoids, alpha or beta hydroxy acids, or any other potentially irritating ingredients. Avoid exfoliating products for at least a week as your skin heals.

3. Hydration: Keep your skin hydrated with a good quality, fragrance-free moisturiser. Some professionals may also recommend a serum with hyaluronic acid to aid in hydration and healing. 4. Avoid Makeup: Avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours after the procedure to prevent skin irritation and potential infection.

5. Avoid Exercise: Sweating or any activities that cause excessive heat or sweating should be avoided for at least 48 hours after treatment.

6. Avoid Alcohol-based Products: Do not use any products that contain alcohol as they can cause skin dryness and irritation.

7. Avoid Swimming: Chlorinated water can be irritating, so it's best to avoid swimming for a few days post-procedure.

8. Healthy Diet: Eating a healthy diet rich in vitamins and minerals can support skin healing and health.

9. Don't Pick or Scratch: Your skin may feel slightly itchy or irritated after microneedling. It's important not to scratch or pick at your skin as it heals.
